Terms of Service
Last updated: August 28, 2026
By using Platform Cert Check you agree to these terms. If you use the service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you are authorised to bind it.
1. The service
Platform Cert Check verifies TLS certificate chains against the historical root trust stores of 78 platform versions (iOS, Android, webOS, Tizen, Fire OS) and reports which platform versions would trust a given certificate. Paid plans add monitoring, alerts, history, and API access.
2. Acceptable use
- Only check domains you own or are authorised to test.
- Do not use the service to scan, probe, or attack third-party infrastructure at scale.
- Do not attempt to bypass rate limits, plan quotas, or access controls.
- Do not paste private keys into the service — certificates are public; keys are not.
We may suspend accounts that violate these rules.
3. Accounts & API keys
You are responsible for activity under your account and API keys. Keep keys secret; revoke them immediately if leaked (Account → API keys). We store only hashes of keys and cannot recover a lost key for you.
4. Subscriptions & billing
- Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime; the plan stays active until the end of the paid period, then downgrades to Free.
- Payments are processed by Stripe or Creem; their terms apply to the payment itself.
- Refunds: contact us within 14 days of a charge if something went wrong and we will make it right.
- We may change prices with 30 days' notice; changes apply from your next renewal.
5. No warranty on verdicts
Our reports are computed by running real chain verification against trust stores we captured from actual platform versions. They are a faithful model of those trust stores, but a "trusted" verdict is not a guarantee: individual devices may have modified trust settings, enterprise roots, or network interception, and platforms may change their stores after our snapshot. Use the reports as a strong signal, not as the sole basis for compliance claims.
6. Availability & limitation of liability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages (lost profits, lost traffic, downtime of your own services).
7. Your data
You retain all rights to the domains and certificates you check. Our use of that data is described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may terminate or suspend access for breach of these terms. On termination, your data is handled per the Privacy Policy's retention rules.
9. Changes & contact
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced by email to registered users. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. Contact: support@tvbox-srv-certcheck.ichuanghi.com.
